The Regional Anaesthesia Quick Reference Guide has been compiled by Dr. Fanni Lukács as a tool to support both learning and clinical practice. This guide is merely a compilation designed to facilitate the initiation and continuation of learning in regional anaesthesia by providing easy access to valuable resources; the true credit belongs to the experts who created the original materials.

Acknowledgement

Dr. Fanni Viktória Lukács is a board-certified anaesthesiologist who completed her training in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine in Budapest.

In 2023, she was awarded an educational grant from the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine (ESRA). This opportunity enabled her to complete a regional anaesthesia fellowship at Cork University Hospital. She holds the prestigious ESRA Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA).

Dr. Lukács is an active faculty member at international ESRA cadaver workshops. She also contributes to Hungarian national courses as an organizer and faculty. In 2022, established a national regional anaesthesia course in Budapest that has been organized annually since then. Currently, Dr. Lukács is undertaking a paediatric anaesthesia fellowship at Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin Hospital in Dublin, further broadening her specialized expertise.
