ISRA Cadaver course

ISRA is delighted to invite you to our third cadaveric regional anaesthesia course, in University College Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to bring your regional anaesthesia to the next level, and build on basic knowledge. It’s an absolute “must” for anyone planning to sit the ESRA-DRA examinations (approved for 9 hands-on cadaveric points, 1 hands-on ultrasound point and 1 other point by ESRA) and wants to progress beyond the novice practitioner. This course, over 2 days, includes 2 short introductory anatomy primers, with the rest of the days being dedicated to hands-on ultrasound scanning and needling in small groups.
Learning Objectives include:
Improve understanding of the applied anatomy involved in commonly performed RA blocks
Improve ultrasound visualisation of commonly performed RA blocks
Practice performing commonly performed single-shot RA blocks on cadavers
Practice the insertion of RA continuous infusion catheters in cadavers
Course entry requirements
More than 1 year practicing anaesthesia
Completed ISRA foundation course or equivalent
