The second joint ISRA–NIRAS Update Day took place at the Ballymascanlon Hotel on 9 October 2026 and was fully attended.

Following the success of the first joint meeting in 2025, ISRA and NIRAS came together again for a full day of regional anaesthesia education, combining a morning of short “Hot Topics” lectures with an afternoon of practical workshops.

A joint day of education and practical training

The morning programme focused on concise updates on current topics in regional anaesthesia. The afternoon moved into practical workshop stations led by faculty from both societies, including dedicated free-scanning time.

The fully attended meeting continued the collaboration between ISRA and NIRAS and provided an opportunity for participants from both societies to learn, scan and share experience together.
