What is included with ISRA membership?
ISRA membership provides access to national member benefits, including reduced fees for ISRA courses and meetings, educational opportunities, grants, event updates and participation in Society activities. Eligible members may also vote in Council elections and stand for election to the ISRA Council.
Does ISRA membership include ESRA membership and benefits?
Yes. ISRA membership includes linked membership of the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy (ESRA). Benefits include access to ESRA Academy, reduced fees for relevant ESRA courses and congresses, journal benefits, eligibility for grants and representation within the wider ESRA community.
When does the ISRA membership year run?
The ISRA membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December.
How do I book an ISRA course or event?
Open the relevant course or event page and use the booking button provided. Some bookings are managed directly by ISRA through Ticket Tailor, while joint or partner events may be booked through an external organisation’s website.
What happens if an event is sold out?
The individual event page will state whether a waiting list is available. Where the waiting list is open, use the link provided to join it. If the waiting list is closed, no further registrations can be accepted unless additional places become available.
Are ISRA courses suitable for trainees?
Many ISRA courses are suitable for trainees, but the required level of experience varies. Foundation Courses are intended for clinicians developing their core regional anaesthesia skills, while intermediate and advanced courses may require previous training or clinical experience. Please check the entry requirements on the individual course page before booking.
Do ISRA courses carry ESRA-DRA workshop points?
Some ISRA courses carry approved ESRA-DRA workshop points. The number and type of points will be listed on the relevant course page. Candidates should confirm their individual examination and workshop requirements directly with ESRA.
Where can I find course programmes and further event information?
Programme documents, course information and booking links are provided on the individual event page where available. Look for buttons such as Download Programme, View Course Information or More Information.
I have not received a booking or confirmation email. What should I do?
First check your spam or junk folder and confirm that the email address entered during booking was correct. Some confirmation emails may be sent by Ticket Tailor, Smart Messenger or an external event partner rather than directly from ISRA. If the email has not arrived, contact ISRA with your name, email address and details of the event or transaction.
