The ISRA Foundation Course in Regional Anaesthesia will take place in the Simulation Suite at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, on 9th October 2026.
The course provides structured teaching and practical training in the core principles of regional anaesthesia, with small-group ultrasound scanning and needling sessions.

Teaching and practical sessions
The programme includes an introduction to ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia, ultrasound physics, knobology and needling practice, and teaching and scanning sessions covering axillary, popliteal and femoral blocks. Faculty details will be added when confirmed.
