  • ISRA Membership includes European Society of Regional Anaesthesia (ESRA) Membership. The membership calendar runs 1st January – 31 st December Annually.

  • Dr. Cathy Maher was announced as Winner of Best Regional Anaesthesia Poster Presentation at the 2025 College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland Congress for her poster “Ophthalmic blocks in anaesthesia: A survey examining practice, confidence and barriers”. A prize of €500 was kindly sponsored by Pajunk.

  • Dr. Barry Singleton was announced as the recipient of the ISRA Research Grant of €1000 for his project entitled ‘Preoperative metoclopramide to enhance gastric emptying in patients on Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists for Weight Loss: A Randomised Controlled Trial with Ultrasound Assessment’
