Dr Barry Singleton has been announced as the recipient of the 2025 ISRA Research Grant.
Dr Singleton received the award for his project entitled Preoperative metoclopramide to enhance gastric emptying in patients on Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Agonists for Weight Loss: A Randomised Controlled Trial with Ultrasound Assessment.
The ISRA Research Grant supports research activity relevant to regional anaesthesia, perioperative care and ultrasound-guided practice.
ISRA congratulates Dr Singleton and looks forward to following the progress of this work.
