The 2026 ISRA ESRA-DRA Prep Course was a one-day course for anaesthetists preparing for the ESRA European Diploma of Regional Anaesthesia, also known as ESRA-DRA or EDRA. The annual course has run for a number of years with consistently strong feedback.

The day was led by a faculty made up largely of EDRA diplomates and included separate sessions for candidates preparing for Part 1 and Part 2B, alongside an update lecture on the EDRA examination.

EDRA examination update

An update lecture covered the current EDRA/ESRA-DRA examination and what candidates should expect.

Part 1 preparation

A dedicated session included didactic lectures and practice MCQs for the Part 1 written examination.

Part 2B preparation

A dedicated session included practice live scanning and questions for the practical Part 2B component.

Expert faculty

Teaching was delivered by an experienced faculty drawn largely from EDRA diplomates.
