College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI) Annual Congress- Ultrasound workshops

Following the exceptional success of last year's event, we continued our signature two-day regional anaesthesia workshop at Congress. However, to meet unprecedented demand and elevate clinical training, we restructured the event this year to deliver highly targeted, level-specific tracks across two separate days. The program was split into two distinct focus areas: one workshop tailored explicitly for entry-level regional anaesthesia practitioners, focusing on foundational ultrasound mechanics and safe needling principles, and a second, dedicated workshop for advanced practitioners exploring complex blocks. Both individual workshops achieved full independent recognition, awarding attendees 3 Hands-On Ultrasound Points (HOUP) each toward their EDRA-DRA examination requirements
