12 Month Cork Regional Anaesthesia Fellowship

Cork University Hospital offers a unique opportunity to engage in higher specialist training in Regional Anaesthesia. During this one year programme, fellows have the opportunity to acquire clinical and procedural skills necessary to perform regional anaesthesia to the highest standards.

Physical resources and expertise have been developed over the past ten years that make CUH a truly unique training experience. The regional anaesthesia faculty at CUH are experienced clinicians and educators on the local, national and international stage. Each post has a half-time clinical commitment to regional anaesthesia and a half-time academic commitment. This work structure enables fellows to pursue research interests, engage with the academic infrastructure and potentially obtain a higher degree (MD, PhD) through research. The fellowship programme at CUH is designed to cater for fellows with a wide range of interests and prior regional anaesthesia experience.
